As one of the most influential and powerful leaders in the travel industry,
Micky Arison can give a unique insight on the global position of the industry. He has been the CEO of Carnival Corporation since 1979 and Chairman since 1990 and has overseen its growth into the largest
cruise company in the world.

In an interview with Jeremy Vine, Mr Arison will discuss the short and long term prospects for cruising both in the UK and globally. He’ll look at how it will deal with the post credit crunch traveller — a sober new consumer — the fierce competition in the market and, of course, sustainability and how the industry can grow and succeed against the growing demands of
the green agenda.
