This magical and spectacular party will celebrate the Travel Convention’s first visit to Barcelona.
Built for the 1929 Expo, the Palau Nacional, which houses the MNAC, has been the backdrop for
countless functions highlighting Barcelona's social panorama. Today, it is one of Barcelona's most emblematic
buildings and one of the architectural icons shaping the city's skyline.
The night will begin with folklore, Bastoneras and a traditional Catalan Correfoc (a festival in which devils play
with fire). Before dinner is served, the Castellers will create a human castle in the centre of the spectacular Oval
Room. Two Catalan choirs will entertain delegates during dinner with their interpretations of hit songs. The
highlight of the evening will be an aerial acrobatic performance by the famous Catalan theatre company
Deambulants.
An event not to be missed...
