HOW TO BOOK

There are just four official Convention Hotels, all conveniently located adjacent to the Convention Centre (CCIB) at Diagonal Mar.

How To Book
Accommodation can be booked as part of the on-line registration form.

Delegates booking accommodation will be required to pay a deposit to secure their room. This deposit will be collected in GBP (Pounds Sterling) and passed to the relevant hotel. The remaining balance will be payable directly to the hotel upon check out, in Euros.

Special Requests
If you have any special requests, please let us know by completing the special requests field on the booking form. We will pass on all such requests to the relevant Hotel, but unfortunately we can not guarantee that they will be met.

Amendments
If you want to change any of the details of your booking after you have received your confirmation e-mail, amendments can be made by logging into your registration record until Friday 31st July 2009.

Any amendment request after this date must be advised by e-mail to the Convention Office at moreinfo@thetravelConvention.com. We will pass this request to the principal, who may charge an amendment charge in addition to the charges shown below:

Change requested between 1 August 2009 and 7 days prior to your arrival date:

Delegates will incur a £50.00 charge per change

Change requested within 7 days prior to your arrival date:

Delegates will incur a £50.00 charge per change plus any charges levied by the principal

Cancellations
If you wish to cancel your booking you must e-mail the Convention Office at moreinfo@thetravelConvention.com. The cancellation charges are calculated as follows:

Cancellations notified to us on or prior to 31 July 2009:

No charge

Cancellations notified to us between 1 August and 2 September:

Delegates will incur a cancellation fee for one nights’ Accommodation at the relevant rate

Cancellations notified to us between 3 September and arrival or no shows:
Delegates will incur a cancellation fee of the whole deposit
