Convention Buddy gives you the opportunity to link up with fellow delegates before The Convention begins!
It can be daunting to attend a three-day event alone, so now you don’t need to! It’s a great way to find someone to travel with from your nearest airport; find someone to stay at the same Hotel as you, or simply arrange to meet up with someone in Gran Canaria to attend the business and social functions together. Once you register as a Convention Buddy, your details will be available to other Buddies…and there’s no limit to the number of Buddies you can have. So have a look, and find some great Convention friends!

Eligibility
You must be working within the travel industry or a related supplier planning to attend The Travel Convention 2008 in Gran Canaria.
By using this service, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into this Agreement and to abide by all of our terms.

By signing up to the Convention Buddy service, you agree for the following information to be available to other Convention Buddies.

3) Company Name
4) Type of business
5) County
6) Email
7) Nearest Airport
Find a Buddy
You will be able to look for people to:
1) Travel with from the same airport
2) Stay at the same hotel
3) Meet up with at the Convention
This facility also allows you to choose more than one Buddy, so why not arrange to meet up as a group.
Verification Check
Once you have found a Convention Buddy, it is important to ensure that the person you are communicating with is ‘who they say they are’ and have not given false identity.
The Travel Convention advise all Buddies using this service to run a verification check, by Contacting the organisation your ‘Buddy’ works for to confirm they are ‘who they say they are’.
