The White-hot competition on the apron and increase in passenger numbers has prompted the need to make airports more customer-friendly. This session will discuss possible solutions and take a look at the aviation industry in the longer term, including the predicted shortage of natural resources - such as oil and aluminum - which will have an adverse effect on the cost of flying. Plane Talking will explore how airports and the aviation industry can deal with continuing passenger growth, environmental issues and rising fuel costs, not to mention the prospect of fuel running out completely.
