Convention Review
A new identity, a new format, a new website, a new lead sponsor and a stunning new venue – that was The Travel Convention 2007.
The new-look Convention put the 'travel' back into travel events. An unprecedented line up of senior travel industry professionals talked about the industry's hottest topics throughout the Convention. [click here to see a list of speakers] [click here to see the conference programme]
Supporting the who's who of the travel business was an equally impressive line up of guest speakers. [click here to see a list of speakers] [click here to see the conference programme]
The essential event for everyone looking to grow their travel business, The Travel Convention provided powerful insights into the future of the travel industry and the wealth of opportunities that lie ahead.
Earlier this year, ABTA renamed its annual Convention to reflect the radical changes in the industry, broadening the appeal of the Convention to truly reflect the travel industry as it is today.
The venue was one of the most exciting new meeting spaces in Europe – Tenerife's stunning Magma Convention Centre in Costa Adeje. The free-form building was the perfect venue for an event designed to encourage the free-flowing exchange of ideas, and where one-to-one interaction between professionals was as important as the business presentations and master classes.
This was a Convention that meant business.
