Goodness Gracious Me - Win a Fiat 500!

This year we’re going to have a morning finish with a flourish! After the final ‘One World’ business sessions, the Tenerife Tourism Corporation will stage Canarian entertainment during The Travel Convention's Farewell Brunch.

Fresh from his recent and acclaimed BBC2 documentary series, India with Sanjeev Bhaskar, the British/Indian actor and writer will share his unique combination of humour and insight after brunch. This time the Wembley chat show host will find himself in the hot seat – interviewed by the Convention’s moderator
Jeremy Vine.

Sanjeev first hit the comedy headlines when he starred in the radio sketch show, Goodness Gracious Me, which quickly became a national favourite and transferred to BBC2. He then followed up this success with The Kumars at No. 42. Next year you can hear him as one of the voices on Jackboots on Whitehall, a spoof war movie made in the Team America style.

The Avis car prize draw will also be held at the final day brunch. This will be your chance to win one of the hotly sought-after Fiat 500s – the car isn’t being launched in the UK until November and already has a six month waiting list!

To enter the competition, which is being run in conjunction with Travel Weekly, you’ll have to visit the Avis stand in the Talk Zone on Wednesday and Thursday and the winner will be announced at the farewell brunch on Friday.

So the final morning will be one world of food, entertainment, celebrities and competitions. Unmissable! _____________________________________________________

New Headline Sponsor Carter & Carter - Travel & Tourism

TTC Training has recently rebranded as Carter & Carter - Travel & Tourism

Eileen Cabuk, National Manager Travel & Tourism said "We have always been close to ABTA and regular delegates at the Convention over the years, for this reason sponsoring The Travel Convention seemed an ideal opportunity to launch the new brand to the key stakeholders in the industry".

Although the main thrust of their business has always been within the Retail travel trade, over the years TTC Training has developed relationships with Business Travel Agents, Tour Operators and Tourist Boards - both in the UK and overseas.
