Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has defined and refined the cruise experience, and judging by the number of passengers that come back time and again, we seem to have styled it to perfection. Fred. Olsen, for the 4th consecutive year, has confirmed it will be a Headline Sponsor.  Lol Nichols, General Sales Manager, said the company is keen to be involved in this way because of the importance of maintaining a high profile. “The Travel Convention is the most important annual event for the UK travel industry, with a varied mix of delegates so it makes it worthwhile for even a smaller company like Fred. Olsen to become a major sponsor.”

The company will be sponsoring travel agents to go to the Convention. “These are important people for our business, so it would be good to spend time with them.” The Convention also provides an excellent networking forum. “We always find the Talk Zone hugely beneficial as we get to meet a lot of agents as well as retail and supply partners. We find that as soon as the appointment system’s set up, we’re very quickly oversubscribed.”

Sponsoring The Travel Convention also gives Fred. Olsen a chance to increase the profile of the cruise sector as a whole. “We want to see cruise high on the agenda and being a headline sponsor is a way of promoting the cruise sector as a major part of the travel industry.”
